Introduction:






Construction is the process of constructing a building, roads, bridges and infrastructure. Construction is different from manufacturing because typically manufacturing involves a mass production of items without any specific purchaser, but on the other hand construction typically takes place on location for a client who is known.
For Bahrain, currently the construction sector is contributing about 5% to the local Gross Domestic Product which is annually expected to increase 3-5%. The growth is mainly attributed to the prioritization of infrastructure and housing projects in the kingdom. The government priority has been made to deal with the high demand for social housing. Annually there are 4,000 applications with 53,000 housing on social grounds. By the year 2016, the government designated $3.2 billion to construct homes of about 30,000.Some other well known projects that are still ongoing are; 
Bahrain’s construction sector is booming, as the country is spending billions of dollars of Gulf Development Program funds to remodel the airport and highway system. In the light of which also providing tens of thousands of affordable new homes for its citizens.
• Public transport network which is a project due in 2030.
• Bahrain Airport Expansion
• Construction of infrastructure for three planned cities
• New state of the art Exhibition Centre

Jobs:
As construction something requires more than that of a labor. Construction jobs are consisted of huge job opportunities for almost every educated and non-educated worker. We can see in the picture below various job opportunities with various requirements and eligibility criteria.
Construction usually requires collaboration and joins cooperation of many labors and multiple job titles.

Kinds of labors:
                   These three main labors based on educational background and training and expertise;
Unskilled and semi-skilled – General site labor with little or no construction qualifications.
Skilled – ⦁ Tradesmen who've served apprenticeships, mostly in ⦁ labor unions, and on-site managers who possess incredible knowledge and experience in their ⦁ profession.
Managerial and Technical – Personnel with the greatest educational qualifications, usually a person with ⦁ graduate degrees, trained to design, manage and instruct the construction process.

Salary:
Mostly the good organizations keep internal and external equity in wages. Sometimes the work isn’t too much to do for a contract so wages are paid as per work done or hourly charged or whatever the system is being applied. More hard and time taking job tends to have more salary.
Also sometimes salaries are not mentioned to the worker or labor estimates his salary or (frequently said) “Wage” at the time of payment on the spot as judging per his\her time and effort that he\she put into the job.

Qualification is a factor that connects Salary directly. No doubt higher qualification gets a lot higher salary and other incentives.

The average salary for a Project Manager, Engineering is BHD 35,593 annually.

Level of autonomy required to perform the set of tasks.
